Osteopathy-France Quirin
Registered Osteopath
'Osteopathy is a gentle and effective form of diagnosis and treatment for musculoskeletal problems'.
An Osteopath will diagnose the problem through feeling and observing the injured area and completing orthopaedic tests. Treatment will involve soft tissue relaxing along with manipulation and mobilisation which may be suitable for those from nine weeks old to ninety years of age.
Cranial and structural techniques form the main body of skills used and these may be used in combination during treatment.
France Quirin has been a qualified Osteopath since 1996. He studied at the London School of Osteopathy, having been a Registered General Nurse for 10 years.
In addition to using osteopathic techniques France has always had a keen interest in providing information that allows the clients to ‘take care of themselves’, this is line with current thinking. France is qualified to supplement treatment with dry needling, this is a little like acupuncture and helps relax muscles and promotes healing.
More recently France has trained in the Perrin technique for treating ME/CFS. He is able to treat sufferers with empathy and expertise.
